The fabulous Dundee Backpackers hostel enjoys a a great city centre location and is surrounded with numerous shops, eateries, pubs and clubs right on your doorstep. The luxurious accommodation offers all mod cons in a unique medieval atmosphere. Rooms are spacious and many have en suite facilities. The hostel opened in spring 2008 following a painstaking two year renovation project. Enter through the huge ornate iron front gate and you find reception in the oldest part of the hostel; the ‘Gardyne' building which dates back to 1560 and is the finest remaining example of late medieval architecture in the city. Reception is located in an ancient courtyard which is now covered by a spectacular glass roof. Train and bus stations are within a 5 minute walk . Dundee Backpackers Hostel is the best place to stay in town. |
