Take the Number 10 or 10A bus (ask driver to tell you when you get to the 'St Andrews Alehouse' in Colinton Road) |

| · | Drive down Polwarth Terrace (on your left you will see the Orwell Hotel & Polwarth Church on your right) |

the end of Polwarth Terrace there is a small roundabout. This is
Colinton Road. Get off here (at the 'St Andrews Alehouse')

Walk back a few steps to Craiglockhart Terrace. The Edinburgh House Hostel is the first house on the corner. |

| · | Follow signs for City Bypass A720 |
| · | Pick up the A720 City Bypass at South Gyle |
| · | Exit at Oxgangs, (Dreghorn Barracks) |
| · | Turn left at Motorway exit and drive past Shell Garage |
| · | Drive straight over first roundabout |
| · | At 2nd roundabout turn right into Redford Road |
| · | At the end of this road (100 Yards) turn left into Oxgangs Road North |
| · | Drive down the hill and follow the road, you will pass some shops on the left and an Esso garage on the Right |
| · | Continue to drive straight from here, do not divert from this road, until you reach the hostel |
| · | Drive over the mini roundabout into Colinton Road. |
| · | Carry straight on and drive through the traffic lights |
| · | You will pass a Mercedes Garage on the left then another Esso Garage |
| · | On the right you will see a pub the St Andrews Alehouse |
| · | Exit into Craiglockhart Terrace, which is the exit just past the pub |
| · | The hostel is the first house on the corner. |
